Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy. Alloy 600 exhibits cold forming characteristics normally associated with chromium-nickel stainless steels.

Inconel 600 pipe is used in thermocouple sheaths, ethulene dichloride(EDC) cracking tubes, reactore vessels and heat exchanger tubing used in the procustion of vinyl chloride.
