Product Description

Overview:

The 2507 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Tube is a super duplex stainless steel containing 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel, designed for harsh applications requiring excellent strength and corrosion resistance, such as chemical processing, petrochemical and seawater equipment. The steel has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion coefficient.
The 2507 Super Duplex tube has the advantages of high strength, pitting and high crevice corrosion resistance. High resistance to stress corrosion cracking, corrosion fatigue and erosion, excellent resistance to CSCC chloride stress corrosion cracking high thermal conductivity thermal expansion coefficient low good resistance to sulphide stress corrosion performance, lower thermal expansion and higher thermal conductivity than austenitic steel, good workability and weldability, high energy absorption.

The 2507 Super biphase tubing can be used in the production and treatment of natural gas and oil heat exchanger tubes and pipes, heat exchangers and pipes in desalination plants, mechanical and structural components, FGD systems in the power industry, pipes for the treatment of chlorinated solutions in the processing industry, Use utility and industrial systems with high corrosion fatigue, rotors, fans, shafts and press rollers, chemical tanker cargo holds, containers, piping and welding consumables.
