Overview
204 stainless steel is a kind of austenitic stainless steel,
belonging to the 200 series. Austenitic steels are known for their
excellent corrosion resistance and high ductility, making them

different from similar products in that it contains less nickel
than similar products.
In fact, it contains only about 3.5% nickel compared to the typical
