Product Discription:
S32550 is the Unified Numbering System (UNS) designation for the
original super duplex stainless steel, best known as Ferralium 255.
The UNS system was created by a number of trade groups working
together in the 1970’s, to reduce confusion from the same alloy
being called different things or vice-versa. Each metal is
indicated by a letter followed by five numbers, where the letter
indicates the family of metals i.e. S for stainless steels.
Ferralium 255 (UNS32550, DIN 1.4507, F61) is the original SDSS,
developed by Langley Alloys in the 1960’s. It is still the only
super duplex to provide a yield strength >85ksi, whilst it’s
increased copper content (2%) ensures greater resistance to acids.
The characteristics of Duplex 32520:
Corrosion resistance: S32550 stainless steel pipe has excellent corrosion resistance,
especially in corrosive environments such as seawater,
chloride-containing solutions, and acidic conditions.
High Strength: Super duplex steel UNS S32550 pipes have high tensile strength for
strong and durable piping solutions.
Excellent toughness: S32550 stainless steel pipe has excellent
toughness and impact resistance, making it suitable for
applications under harsh conditions.
Stress corrosion cracking resistance: A790 duplex steel s32550 round pipes exhibit good resistance to
stress corrosion cracking (SCC), which may occur in environments
where tensile stress and corrosion conditions are combined.
High-temperature performance: Super duplex stainless steel can maintain its mechanical
properties and corrosion resistance even at high temperatures,
making it suitable for high-temperature applications.
Use of S32550 duplex stainless steel:
Petrochemical industry: Stainless steel and double steel plate 1.4507 are used in
petrochemical products such as washing machines, drying equipment,
mixers, centrifuges, pumps, fans, solid and magnetic components.
Purchase: Stainless steel special equipment with 2550 layers of metal
alloys, such as washing machines, dry cleaners, mixers and
centrifuges, ensures corrosion of chemicals and makes them unsafe.
The environmental community: The two Sakelik sculptures have 3,250 bottles to deal with

which can cause rust and cracks.
