Product Discription:

In a piping system, a bend is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipe. There are 45°, 90°and 180° three most commonly used.

Type 304 stainless steel, a chromium-nickel material, resists corrosion caused by water, heat, saltwater, acids, minerals, and peaty soils. Type 316 stainless steel has a higher nickel content than 304 stainless, plus molybdenum, for even greater corrosion resistance.

The purpose of the elbow:

A connection pipe fitting commonly used in pipeline installation is connected to two pipes with the same or different nominal diametre, so that the pipeline makes a certain Angle turn, and the nominal pressure is 1-1.6Mpa.

Technical:

Required control of curvature radius. For example, if the radius length is 1.5D, then the radius of curvature must be within the required tolerance. Since most of these pipe fittings are used for welding, in order to improve the quality of welding, the end is bevelled, leaving a certain Angle, with a certain edge, this requirement is also relatively strict, how thick the edge, how much the Angle and the deviation range are specified, and there are many more items than the pipe fittings in geometric size. The surface quality and mechanical properties of the elbow are basically the same as those of the pipe. In order to facilitate welding, the steel material of the pipe to be connected should be the same.
