Tolerances on outside diameter and wall thickness:
The diameter and the wall thickness of the tubes shall be within the relevant tolerance limits given in Table 12 for
hot finished tubes and in Table 13 for cold finished tubes. Tolerance classes T1 to T4 and D1 to D4 were taken
from EN ISO 1127.
Out of roundness is included in the tolerances on diameter and eccentricity is included in the tolerances on wall
thickness.

Type of inspection
Conformity to the requirements of the order, for tubes according to this part of EN 10216, shall be verified by
specific inspection.
When an inspection document 3.1.B is specified the material manufacturer shall state in the confirmation of the
order whether he is operating according to a “quality-assurance system”, certified by a competent Body established
within the Community, and whether he has undergone a specific assessment for materials.
